Football star Solomon Thomas poses for Polestar photography sessions
In a groundbreaking move, luxury electric vehicle manufacturer Polestar has teamed up with the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London to create a one-of-a-kind in-car listening experience. This collaboration is showcased in the Polestar Portraits series, available on the Polestar YouTube channel.
One of the featured artists in this series is jazz star Solomon Thomas. Solomon, who commutes between New Jersey and Manhattan, New York City in a sports car-like SUV, the Polestar 3, shared his experience of using this time to get his anxieties out so he can be present when he gets home.
In an episode dedicated to Solomon, he was invited to spend a day at Abbey Road Studio Two, where he took on the challenge of reimagining two of his most impactful tracks to showcase the unique sonic characteristics of the new in-car listening experience.
The Polestar 3, with its impressive range, is designed to connect its passengers with their passions. For Solomon, this means being able to travel between his love for American football and Broadway theatre. In fact, he has seen the Broadway musical "Hamilton" an impressive five times.
Other notable figures featured in the Polestar Portraits series include American basketball player Kevin Love and professional cyclist Demi Vollering. Each episode offers a unique insight into the lives of these individuals and their connection to the Polestar 3.
