The city administration's committee on civil defense, emergencies, and public safety has announced a temporary restriction on entering the forests of Ulan-Ude, effective until September 19. This ban applies to both people and vehicles, but certain exceptions have been made.

The restriction is a measure to ensure the safety and well-being of the city's residents and visitors. It does not apply to the city as a whole, but specifically concerns the forests in Ulan-Ude. Traffic on public roads within the forests remains unaffected.

Sites of citywide mass events are not part of the forest entry ban. This means that events such as concerts and sports matches can still take place as scheduled. The football field at Verkhnei Berezovke and the Komsomolsky and Bogorodsky islands are also exempt from the restriction, allowing visitors to enjoy these popular destinations.

Hiking trails such as "Yubileinaya" and "Zdorovya" are not included in the forest entry restriction, ensuring that nature lovers can still enjoy a walk in the woods. Recreation bases, stadiums, children's camps, health resorts, and other similar facilities are also not affected by the ban.

Gathering wild plants (mushrooms and others) and medicinal herbs for personal use is exempt from the forest entry ban. This allows residents to continue to harvest these natural resources for their own consumption.

The forbidden zone for car traffic in Ulan-Ude was extended to September 19 due to preparations for the Buryat Republic Day celebrations. The city administration is working to ensure a safe and enjoyable celebration for all.

The forest entry ban in Ulan-Ude is a temporary measure, designed to protect the city's forests and its residents. It is important for everyone to comply with the restrictions to ensure the safety and well-being of all.
