Stefanie Hertel, a veteran television personality, moderated the latest live broadcast of "Every Sunday Again" in the absence of Stefan Mross, who was unable to host due to family reasons. The show, which regularly attracts a million viewers, took place at an open-air stage in southern Baden-Rust.

Mross, a popular pop star, had requested Hertel to host the show on his behalf, according to Southwest Broadcasting (SWR). The live broadcast on Sunday marked the second-to-last of the current season.

Hertel began the show by expressing her thoughts for Mross and his family, following the news of the passing of Mross' mother, Stefanie, who passed away on Wednesday in her home in Upper Bavaria. Hertel sent her condolences to Mross and his family during the broadcast.

Pop singer Uta Bresan was present to support Hertel during the emotional broadcast. Bresan, known for her powerful voice and heartfelt performances, lent her support to Hertel throughout the show.

Hertel and Mross were previously married for five years, and they were together for a total of 17 years before divorcing in December 2012. They share a daughter born in 2001. Despite their divorce, they remain friends.

Hertel made her first television appearance in 1985 on the show "Oberhofer Bauernmarkt" on DDR television. She has been in television for 40 years, making her a seasoned and respected figure in the industry.

This year, 12 live shows of "Every Sunday Again" are being produced in the Europa-Park in Rust. The show, known for its lively atmosphere and engaging content, continues to be a popular choice for viewers each week.
