Four individuals suspected of committing robberies for financial gain were apprehended by the Kuwaiti security forces.

In a significant development, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) in Kuwait has announced the arrest of a four-member gang involved in a series of bank robberies. The gang, suspected of stealing money from bank customers while they were sitting in their cars, was apprehended in the Shuwaikh industrial area.

The robbers, who targeted bank clients in the Al-Dajeej district, were known for following their victims aboard vehicles. Their vehicles' plates were reportedly changed as a deception to evade detection.

A special squad from the MoI was formed to monitor the gang's movement near banks. The detention took place near a bank in Al-Dajeej district after days of watching the gang's movement. The robbers were detained in their vehicles during this operation.

The investigations employed high technology, although the nature of the technology used was not specified. The robbers confessed to committing the thefts, according to the MoI statement, which confirmed the detainees' involvement in the thefts.

However, no further details about the arrested individuals or the amount stolen were provided in the statement. The nature of the legal proceedings against the detainees was also not specified. The detainees will be referred to the competent authorities for further legal proceedings.

The thefts occurred in the Industrial Shuwaikh District, with the gang reportedly using deception by changing their vehicles' plates to evade detection. The MoI emphasised its commitment to maintaining the security and safety of the citizens and residents of Kuwait.
