Four Spirits - Flames and Samplings
The local rowing or sports club in Altendorf is organising a spirits comparison event titled "Altendorf" on Saturday, February 3, 2024. The event will take place at Gasthaus Sorgenfrei, Café Auditorium, Neunburger Straße 10, 92540 Altendorf.
The spirits comparison event, popularly known as "The Spirit-Vergleich of the Big Five," is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM. The event will last approximately 3 - 3.5 hours and will be led by Günter Graf.
Participants are invited to attend this exciting event which can accommodate a minimum of 14 and a maximum of 24 participants. Tickets for the event are available both online and in business offices in Weiden and Amberg. For subscribers, the fee is 99,- €. For non-subscribers, the fee is 105,- €. The fee includes finger food.
It's important to note that the price does not include other drinks such as water.
Unfortunately, there have been some unfortunate incidents recently. On Saturday evening, a driver had an accident on the B85 near Amberg. Elsewhere, a Munich woman was severely injured in a climbing accident at Maximilianfelsen. Our thoughts are with those affected.
On a positive note, both the federal road B85 and the highway A 93 are now clear again following accidents near Falkenberg and a vehicle crash into a tree, respectively.
Rescue workers have also found the body of a missing man from Baden-Württemberg in Lake Como. The cause of the accidents is still under investigation.
