Fox and Skip Bayless reached a settlement regarding sexual misconduct allegations made by a hairstylist.

Fox Sports has reached a settlement in a lawsuit filed by hairstylist Noushin Faraji, who accused the network of sexual harassment and unfair practices. The lawsuit, which also involved claims for sexual battery, hostile work environment, and retaliation, among others, was filed in 2021.

The terms of the settlement were not disclosed, but Faraji is moving forward with a prospective class action over failure to pay minimum wage on behalf of other workers. Lawyers for Faraji will continue pursuing claims alleging that Fox engaged in fraudulent business practices by failing to pay minimum wages, reimburse business expenses, and pay severance to other employees.

Faraji accused Fox Sports talk show host Skip Bayless and network executive Charlie Dixon of making unwanted sexual advances. Bayless, who left the network after his show was cancelled in 2024, around the time the show saw a dip in ratings due to the departure of co-host Shannon Sharpe, has not been publicly implicated in the settlement. Dixon, FS1’s executive producer of content, left Fox due to his wife being hired as a temporary freelancer by a third-party production company, according to his lawyer.

The lawsuit points to a "toxic culture at Fox, marked by bad faith promises and repeated failures to address a poisonous and entrenched patriarchy." Julie Stewart-Binks, a former Fox Sports reporter, claimed in a separate lawsuit that Dixon in 2016 pushed her against a wall and forcibly kissed her. Bayless, Dixon, and Taylor are no longer with Fox.

Marcellus Wiley, former co-host of FS1’s Speak for Yourself, is reportedly considering suing Fox for conspiring to replace him with Joy Taylor. No lawsuit has been filed by Wiley against Fox, but he is reportedly considering legal action against the network regarding disputes. According to the complaint, Taylor allegedly curried favor with Fox executive Charlie Dixon through sexual favors and dismissed Noushin Faraji's concerns of sexual harassment.

In 2022, Speak for Yourself was rebranded as Speak, with Joy Taylor replacing Marcellus Wiley. Emmanuel Acho, ex-Speak for Yourself host, was allegedly engaged in a relationship with Joy Taylor, according to the complaint.

Fox issued a statement saying they are pleased that the matter has been resolved. The settlement comes as Fox Sports continues to grapple with allegations of a toxic work environment and unfair practices.
