Frankie Muniz confesses to struggling with effective communication skills
In the world of child stardom, Frankie Muniz and Amanda Bynes were two names that shone brightly. Born and raised in New York City, Muniz started his career in the entertainment industry at a young age.
Muniz, now 39, rose to fame with his role as Malcolm in the hit TV show "Malcolm in the Middle." Around the same time, he also starred in the movie "Agent Cody Banks" alongside Hilary Duff. However, Muniz has not spoken to or seen Duff since the premiere of the film.
One of Muniz's closest friends during his early days in the industry was Amanda Bynes. The friendship blossomed through AOL, and the two crossed paths after Muniz turned down an offer to host Saturday Night Live. Muniz had a crush on Bynes, but their friendship remained platonic.
Bynes, too, was a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, known for her roles in films like "Big Fat Liar" and on the Nickelodeon series "All That." She stepped away from acting at the age of 24, citing struggles with her mental health and substance use.
Muniz wishes Bynes nothing but happiness and has expressed that he never saw any signs of negativity during their friendship. He saw her a few times after the premiere of "Big Fat Liar," but they eventually lost touch.
Despite his success in acting, Muniz has chosen to pursue his passion for racing. He has not completely left acting behind, though, and has done some work in the field since focusing on racing. Muniz admits that he is bad at communication and has not kept in touch with most of his famous co-stars, including Bynes.
Muniz expressed a desire to bring his co-stars together, hoping to rekindle old friendships and create new memories. As he continues to race and dabble in acting, Muniz looks back on his career with a sense of gratitude and a touch of nostalgia.
