Frontier's open-access scholarly publications will be incorporated into MyScienceWork's index, recognizing their prestigious awards.
In a significant move to accelerate scientific innovation and progress, Frontiers, an award-winning Open Science platform and leading Open Access scholarly publisher, has partnered with MyScienceWork. This partnership, effective from July 5th, 2021, is part of MyScienceWork's commitment to Open Access across Europe and globally.
Frontiers, founded in 2007, has published over 200,000 peer-reviewed research articles across 866 academic disciplines, spanning science, technology, and medicine fields. These articles have been viewed and downloaded over a billion times, underscoring their impact and relevance.
Dr. Fred Fenter, chief executive editor of Frontiers, welcomed the agreement, emphasising the repository's role in disseminating Open Access research for over a decade. Similarly, Yann Mahé, managing director of MyScienceWork, highlighted Open Access and Open Science as important priorities for his organisation.
The partnership aims to enhance the research experience for academics by providing unrestricted access to approximately 200,000 research articles from Frontiers. This extensive collection will be accessible across 103 journals and 866 academic disciplines, making it easier for researchers to find and utilise the information they need.
MyScienceWork, with its platform hosting an average of a million visitors per month, indexes multiple sources representing over 90M articles and 12M patents, covering all scientific disciplines across all countries. The platform already hosts renowned partners such as Springer Nature, Karger, De Gruyter, Annual Reviews, EDP Science, Cairn, and now Frontiers.
Frontiers' mission is to make research results openly available to the world to accelerate scientific and technological innovation, societal progress, and economic growth. This partnership is an important part of Frontiers' ongoing commitment to making all science open.
