FuelBuddy broadens its territory in Africa, establishing presence in Zimbabwe and Zambia, bolstering its influence on the continent.

FuelBuddy, a global mobile fuel distribution platform, has announced its entry into Zimbabwe and Zambia, marking a significant milestone in its mission to revolutionize fuel delivery across emerging markets.

The expansion aims to address critical fuel and alternative energy supply challenges in these new markets, as they grapple with the growing demand for reliable solutions due to their expanding industrial and commercial sectors.

Adnan Kidwai, CEO, International, FuelBuddy, stated that the company's mission is to empower industries and communities by delivering fuel safely, transparently, and efficiently. He added that this expansion is a step towards achieving that goal.

FuelBuddy has a strong track record of operational excellence, having delivered over 500 million litres of fuel globally. The company has served a diverse clientele, including Varun Beverages (Pepsi), JSPL, Coca-Cola, Amazon, DLF, Infosys, Apparel DIP, Lal's Group, 2XL Sharjah, Landmark Group, Taj, Hitachi, Amazon, Flipkart, Zomato, Blinkit, and Delhivery.

The company's strategic expansion into Zimbabwe and Zambia also aims to expand its presence in fossil fuel and emerging alternative energies in other African countries. FuelBuddy has previously transformed fuel accessibility in India, the UAE, and Mozambique.

In 2021, FuelBuddy acquired Bangalore-based on-demand fuel delivery start-up MyPetrolPump, a move that has further strengthened its position in the market.

FuelBuddy offers a fully digital fuel ordering and delivery experience. The company is committed to innovation and customer-centricity, and looks forward to building strong local partnerships and creating employment opportunities in these countries.

Moreover, FuelBuddy is set to address the increasing energy demand in Africa, with the continent's energy demand in 2040 projected to surge by 30% more than it is today, compared to a 10% increase in global energy demand.

FuelBuddy is also committed to the development of renewable energy solutions. The company has welcomed partners for the development of renewable energy solutions in India and the United Arab Emirates.

The move to expand into Zimbabwe and Zambia is part of FuelBuddy's mission to empower businesses and communities with reliable, safe, and efficient doorstep fuel delivery solutions. The company launched its services in 2017, with a focus on solving challenges in fuel procurement and storage like pilferage, theft, spillage, monitoring & controlling consumption.

As FuelBuddy continues to expand its footprint, it remains committed to its core values of safety, transparency, and efficiency, promising to deliver the best possible service to its customers in these new markets.
