The Montessori School in Greifswald is set to construct a new "Creative House," which will include a bouldering wall. This exciting development is part of a larger project focused on creating movement and meeting spaces.
The funding for this project has been approved by Minister Christian Pegel on August 29, 2025, to the tune of approximately 35,664 euros. Anja Bernhardt, the Managing Director of Aktion Sonnenschein Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, will be the recipient of this grant from the Citizens' Fund.
The bouldering wall in the new Creative House is intended to serve as an attractive movement and meeting space. Climbing a bouldering wall encourages overcoming challenges and finding creative solutions, a skill that is not only fun but also empowers children and young people for later life.
This investment project aims to strengthen the community and cohesion of the region. The bouldering wall will be accessible not only to students but also to the public, particularly children and young people in the surrounding area.
