Funding Presentation by Minister Pegel at Montessori School in Greifswald - Press Conference
The Montessori School in Greifswald is set to receive a new attraction, as a bouldering wall is to be constructed on its campus. The wall will be located at 17493 Greifswald, Geetzerring 19, specifically on the newly built "Creative House".
This project is part of an initiative to create movement and meeting spaces, and is intended to be an attractive addition to the school's facilities. The bouldering wall will be open to students, the public, and especially children and young people in the surrounding area.
The recipient of the grant for the construction measures of these movement and meeting spaces is Anja Bernhardt, Managing Director of Action Sunshin Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The investment project aims to strengthen community and cohesion in the region.
On Friday, August 15, 2025, Minister Christian Pegel will present a grant of approximately 35,664 euros for the construction of the climbing wall as a space for movement and meeting on the campus of the Montessori School Greifswald. The presentation will take place at the Ministry of Interior and Construction Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, with the location of the event being Schwerin.
Climbing on a bouldering wall encourages children and young people to overcome challenges and find creative solutions, making it an ideal addition to the school's facilities.
