Gaga and Ortega exude mystical intensity in bodices and exposures at the "Wednesday" Season 2 premiere gathering
In the highly-anticipated second half of Season 2 of "Wednesday," viewers can expect an exciting collaboration between stars Jenna Ortega and Lady Gaga.
Lady Gaga will be portraying Rosaline Rotwood, a teacher at Nevermore Academy, donning an over-the-top black outfit designed by emerging designer Anton Femia. The outfit, accessorized with an oversized jester-esque umbrella hat designed by Matthew David Andrews and made by milliner Jenny Beattie, includes a bodice broken up by a corset, ruffled sleeves, billowy pants, and a corset adorned with jewels. A black lace bra subtly peeks out of the dress's sweetheart neckline, adding an extra touch of glamour.
Meanwhile, Jenna Ortega will make a stunning appearance with bleached eyebrows, dark smoky eye, a partially braided hairstyle, and gigantic black platform boots. Her outfit, a custom GapStudio by Zac Posen charcoal-colored, distressed T-shirt dress, features a sweetheart neckline, slim halterneck straps, and cutouts that extend to her hips. Enrique Melendez styled Jenna's gown, ensuring a perfect blend of fashion and character.
The outfits were inspired by different aesthetics. Lady Gaga's dress was inspired by the Y2K DIY T-shirt aesthetic and was made using a wash-house treatment, while Jenna's dress embodies a more modern, casual style.
Season 2, Part 2 of "Wednesday" is now available on Netflix, with Lady Gaga playing a mysterious and legendary Nevermore teacher. Don't miss out on this exciting collaboration between these two talented stars!
