Born in French Algeria, April 21, 1931, in the quaint town of Trézel, Isidore Partouche clocked in for a stint as a concessionaire radioelectrician for Philips. In 1973, after returning to France post-Algeria, Isidore and his family purchased the casino of Saint-Amand-les-Eaux (Nord), along with their thermal establishment and mineral water spring, at the local courthouse.

In terms of market share, the gaming industry has Partouche standing at number two in France, with European legs and a stronghold in Tunisia.
