Gathering of Previous Monarchs: Reunion of Former Kings at SV Heimfeld
In the picturesque town of Fleestedt, the Feld Shooting Club of 1890 e.V. hosted a memorable event that brought together 14 former kings and the current queen, Sarah Moysen. The occasion was marked by the successful season opener of the club, with the event chaired by Gert Eggert.
The day began with a warm welcome by Gert Eggert, setting the tone for a gathering filled with camaraderie and friendly competition. Last year's king of the Feld Shooting Club, Stefan Klensang, ensured the event ran smoothly, as the meeting of former kings took place at the shooting range.
The highlight of the day was the competition, where participants demonstrated their skills in disassembling a wooden bird. Among the contestants was Werner Fitzner, the king of the year 2017/18, who made history by securing his victory with the 264th shot. With this triumph, Werner Fitzner became the 40th king of kings of the Feld Shooting Club.
The event was not all about competition, however. A coffee table was also part of the day's activities, providing a relaxing space for attendees to mingle and reminisce. The day concluded with a joint dinner, fostering a sense of unity and friendship among the participants.
As the sun set on Fleestedt, the Feld Shooting Club's season opener proved to be a resounding success, bringing together former kings, the current queen, and members of the club in a cozy get-together that celebrated the club's rich history and promising future.
