German authorities detain returned Romanians at border checkpoints
In a recent development, a Romanian national was arrested near Kiefersfelden on August 27th by the Federal Police Inspectorate Rosenheim. The arrest was made on the A93 by the Rosenheim Federal Police officers.
The Federal Police Inspectorate Rosenheim is the authority responsible for maintaining safety in rail passengers and rail infrastructure, spanning approximately 370 kilometers of track and around 70 stations and stops. The Romanian national is expected to spend 195 days in the Bernau Prison. The head of the Federal Police Inspection Rosenheim, responsible for the authority that conducted the arrest, is Stefan Kurth.
