Girona and Sevilla's Starting XI and Reserve Players for the 2025-2026 LaLiga EA Sports Season announced
Girona FC and Sevilla FC are set to lock horns in a crucial La Liga encounter on Saturday at 7:30 PM at Montilivi. This will be the second away game for Sevilla FC this season, as they are yet to secure a win in the La Liga campaign.
For Girona FC, coach Michel Sánchez, who is in his fifth year in charge of the club, will lead the team against Sevilla FC. The Catalan side, however, faces a tough challenge as they are yet to win a match this season.
Injuries have taken a toll on Girona FC with Ricard Arter, Yangel Herrera, Tsygankov, Abel Ruiz, and Van de Beek ruled out of the match. In contrast, Sevilla FC will have Gabriel Suazo and Alfon registered and available for selection, although Iheanacho will miss out due to unspecified reasons.
Michel Sánchez's team will field a revamped lineup for the clash, with Arnau, V. Reis, D. López, Witsel, Álex Moreno, Lemar, Asprilla, Martín, Roca, and Stuani starting. On the other hand, Matias Almeyda's team will also have several changes in their lineup for the clash.
The match is significant for Sevilla FC as they aim to turn their season around. Girona FC, on the other hand, will be hoping to make a statement and secure their first win of the season.
In goal for Girona FC, Gazzaniga will be in action, having returned from suspension. Álvaro Fernández, however, will miss out due to technical reasons, while Pedrosa is close to joining Elche on loan and will not feature.
Sevilla FC will also be without Sow, Januzaj, Ramón Martínez, Jordán, Nianzou, Lukebakio, and Akor Adams due to injuries. Meanwhile, Idumbo's sale to Monaco is being finalized, and he will not be available for the match.
As both teams prepare for this crucial encounter, fans can expect an exciting and hard-fought battle in the third round of La Liga.
