Global professional wrestling makes its mark on the international scene at the APAC SlamFest 25, with Malaysian flair and thrilling acrobatics featured in the historic event.
In a thrilling night of action, APAC Wrestling's SlamFest 25 took centre stage at Stadium Juara, attracting over 700 fans in person and many more via livestream. The event, hailed as the biggest Malaysian pro wrestling show to date, saw numerous exciting matches, including the highly-anticipated main event.
Shaukat, a prominent figure in the APAC Wrestling community, expressed his hope that his students will continue to grow and reach the international standard they truly deserve following SlamFest 25. One of the students, Raj, shared his excitement about the bright future of Malaysian pro wrestling.
Raj Dhesi, a former WWE superstar and champion (formerly known as Jinder Mahal), stated that APAC Wrestling is a show where families can enjoy together. He encouraged fans to bring friends to future APAC Wrestling shows.
One of the highlights of the night was the Tag Team Cup, won by Damian Slater and Marcius Pitt (TMDK). Another memorable moment was the ring-shattering clash between Jordan Oasis and 'The Retis' Double K.
In the Femme Fatale 4-Way match, Tarlee emerged victorious, earning herself a future shot at the APAC Women's Championship. The current champion, Nor Phoenix Diana, defended her title against Zayda Steel at SlamFest 25. WWE ID Women's Champion Kylie Rae served as the special guest referee for the match.
A historic moment was in store for Phoenix, who retained her championship in a match against Raj. This victory sets her up for a future opportunity to challenge Kylie Rae for the WWE ID Women's Championship, a first for a Malaysian contender for this prestigious title.
The first-ever Malaysian pro wrestling ladder match saw 'Dreamkiller' Azroy emerge victorious against WWE ID Champion Cappuccino Jones.
The event was attended by influencers, podcasters, comedians, and cast members from the upcoming Astro original series Generasi: Perfect 10. Hazwanshah and Bryan Kong, from the Let's Get It podcast, attended the event for the first time.
