Google's administrative duties are being handled by Frank.

Sabine Frank, who has served as Head of Governmental Affairs and Public Policy at YouTube for the past four years, has been appointed as the Director of Government Affairs & Public Policy at Google for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Effective immediately, Frank will take on her new role at Google, overseeing Government Affairs & Public Policy responsibilities for the DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) region.

Contrary to initial reports, Frank's new role is not in the Emerging Europe (EEM) region, but rather within the DACH region. Her previous experience in Governmental Affairs and Public Policy was at YouTube, not Google.

Frank's appointment comes with a change of reporting structure, with Annette Kroeber-Riel, Vice President Government Affairs & Public Policy at Google for Europe, set to be her direct supervisor.

Despite the new role, Frank will continue to hold her position at YouTube in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland until a successor is announced. The search results do not provide information about her successor at YouTube.

It is important to note that Frank's new role at Google is not within the YouTube subsidiary. Her role at YouTube remains in the DACH/CEE/EEM region.

Frank's new role at Google is effective from this week, marking a new chapter in her career as she navigates the complex world of Government Affairs & Public Policy in the DACH region.
