GPS Used to Trace Stolen Headphones' Location

A 38-year-old German national was arrested at a homeless shelter in Cologne on September 4th. The arrest was in connection with the theft of a laptop and headphones from a car parked on Dasselstraße in Cologne-Neustadt-South.

During a search of the suspect, the stolen items were found. The rightful owner of the stolen items, a 41-year-old individual, had tracked the headphones using GPS and alerted the police. The stolen laptop and headphones were returned to the victim.

It was revealed that the suspect has previously come to police attention. The suspect will be presented to a judge today, with the appearance in court in relation to the theft incident on Dasselstraße in Cologne-Neustadt-South.
