Graduates from "Avantgarde" Academia have secured employment contracts with the organization.
In a move that bolsters the future of the hockey team, Avangard has signed contracts with three promising young players, all graduates of the Avangard Academy.
The most notable signing is Defender Denis Vasilevskiy, who began his hockey career in Belarus before joining the Avangard system in 2021. Denis, who hails from Krasnoyarsk, has put pen to paper on a two-season deal, demonstrating the club's faith in his potential.
Joining Denis is Saveliy Korzik, an 18-year-old forward from Krasnoyarsk as well. Saveliy has been with Avangard since 2022 and will also commit to the club for the next two seasons.
Meanwhile, 17-year-old defender Alexey Yurchuk, a graduate of the Irkutsk hockey school, has signed a three-season contract. Alexey joined "the Hawks" in 2020 and has been honing his skills in Russia during his recent training.
These young talents are not new to the Avangard system, having grown up in Russia during their formative years in hockey. The signings are a testament to the club's commitment to nurturing homegrown talent and building a strong, sustainable team for the future.
