Greenland Tech's Shipment Arrives at Baltimore Port in April

In the wake of the recent collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Greenland Technologies Holding Corporation (GTEC) has issued a statement addressing the situation.

The CEO of Greenland Technologies Holding Corporation, Raymond Wang, expressed his heartfelt thoughts and condolences to the families, the greater Baltimore community, and the emergency responders affected by the incident.

Despite the bridge collapse, Greenland Technologies Holding Corporation's operations and operations at the Port of Baltimore remain unaffected. The company is closely monitoring the situation regarding its supply chain due to the port closure, and is prepared to assess contingency options, such as utilizing alternative ports, if necessary, to minimize any disruptions.

Greenland Technologies Holding Corporation, a technology developer and manufacturer of electric industrial vehicles and drivetrain systems, has made significant strides in electrifying port operations. As of 2024, the company has confirmed the delivery of the HEVI GEL-5000 all-electric front loader to the Port of Baltimore, marking a significant step in this initiative.

The HEVI GEL-5000, an all-electric front loader manufactured by Greenland Technologies Holding Corporation, is intended for use at the Port of Baltimore, contributing to its electrification efforts. This delivery is part of a bid Greenland won in 2023 to help facilitate the Port's plan to electrify port equipment.

Greenland Technologies Holding Corporation's electric vehicle division, HEVI Corp, is involved in the delivery of the HEVI GEL-5000. The company aims to uphold its commitments to customers and plans to make an initial sales delivery of its HEVI GEL-5000 all-electric front loader to Maryland's Port of Baltimore in April 2024.

The work with the Port of Baltimore is part of Greenland Technologies Holding Corporation's broader strategy to promote the use of electric industrial vehicles. The company trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol GTEC.

Raymond Wang, CEO of Greenland Technologies Holding Corporation, has also issued a comment regarding the bridge collapse, stating that the company is hopeful for a swift resolution and recovery for the affected community. He reiterated Greenland Technologies Holding Corporation's commitment to its work at the Port of Baltimore and its efforts to promote clean, sustainable industrial solutions.
