42 New Officers and Government Inspectors Join Gelsenkirchen Police Presidency

On Monday, September 1, 2025, the Gelsenkirchen Police Presidency welcomed a total of 42 new members. This reinforcement includes 27 fresh graduates who recently completed their training, and 15 officers transferred from various authorities. The new officers hail from offices across the region, including Münster, Düsseldorf, Essen, Recklinghausen, Coesfeld, Duisburg, and the State Office for Training and Further Education.

The new officers will be immediately deployed to strengthen "Team 110" in Gelsenkirchen, with the aim of ensuring safety and order in the city and improving the objective security situation. They will be deployed in all areas, primarily in patrol and shift service.

Police President Tim Frommeyer expressed his pleasure about the reinforcement, stating that they are all needed to tackle the diverse tasks ahead. He welcomed the new colleagues, along with other leading figures, and expressed his confidence in their abilities to contribute positively to the Gelsenkirchen Police Presidency.

In addition to the new officers, four new government inspectors will strengthen the administration of the local police authority in Gelsenkirchen.
