In a dominating performance at home, Borussia Dortmund (BVB) secured a 3-0 victory over Union Berlin, maintaining their unbeaten record against their opponents in the Bundesliga.

The decisive moment of the game came in the 44th and 58th minutes, with Serhou Guirassy scoring the winning goals. Guirassy's first goal, just before half-time, was a result of a good cross from Yan Couto, while his second was set up by a lob from Maximilian Beier. Substitute Felix Nmecha added another goal in the 81st minute to secure the convincing victory.

The game was not without its close calls for BVB. Union Berlin had a dangerous header saved by goalkeeper Gregor Kobel after a corner, and Tom Rothe's mistake with a too short back pass led to a chance for Dortmund.

Despite some early struggles, BVB found their rhythm as the game progressed, with Guirassy leading the charge. Union Berlin, on the other hand, had few dangerous actions throughout the match.

Aarón Anselmino, loaned from FC Chelsea, made his debut for Dortmund in the game and was one of the few bright spots for the home team. Maximilian Beier also shone, assisting the second goal for Dortmund. However, Beier's performance overall was somewhat overshadowed by a less-than-stellar showing from fellow teammate Maximilian Philipp.

Christopher Trimmel, Union Berlin's captain, commented after the game, "Dortmund is an incredibly strong team, especially at home, and Guirassy is a top player."

The victory comes as a relief for BVB, who were under pressure to avoid a Bundesliga false start. It also marks Dortmund's continued dominance over Union Berlin at home, with the team never dropping a point against them in the Bundesliga.

Dortmund's new signing, Fábio Silva, was not yet in the squad due to adductor problems. Manager Marco Rose stated that Silva will work intensively in the coming two weeks to recover and join the team.

With this win, Dortmund moves up the Bundesliga table, looking to build on their strong start to the season. The team will face Mainz 05 in their next match, aiming to continue their winning streak.
