In a nod to Jamaica's rich athletics heritage, Puma has brought back the H-Street "Jamaica" running shoe. This retro sneaker, originally from the late 90s, now offers a blend of comfort, durability, and striking aesthetics.

The H-Street "Jamaica" pack features two colorways that directly reference the colours of the Jamaican flag. You can choose between a brown, olive, and yellow palette or a black, white, and blue combination. The sneaker boasts a regular fit, robust rubber outsole, and a leather and textile upper, ensuring both style and functionality. It also comes with a supportive midsole for all-day comfort and GEL cushioning for soft comfort, as well as a breathable mesh upper for breathability.

Priced at €90, the Puma H-Street "Jamaica" is an affordable addition to any sneaker collection.

Meanwhile, Adidas and Brain Dead have collaborated on the Brain Dead x Adidas Japan Lo, a reissue of a classic sneaker first introduced during the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. This collaboration, available on August 28, 2025, features bold flame overlays in long-haired suede, special "hairy" laces, a suede heel tab, a contrasting leather collar, and a flat off-white outsole. The Brain Dead x Adidas Japan Lo will be priced at €140 and will be available on the official Adidas website and app.

Sneakers have come a long way since they were coined by advertising specialist Henry Nelson McKinney at the beginning of the 20th century. They have evolved into a lucrative investment model, with some models reaching high resale prices. Timeless classics like Adidas Gazelle, Nike Air Force 1, and Converse Chuck Taylor remain in fashion, while brands such as Balenciaga (Triple S) and Fila (Disruptor) have popularized "Dad Shoes" or "Ugly Sneakers" with their chunky silhouettes and eye-catching designs.

However, the search for the designer who created the first limited edition Louis Vuitton sneakers remains elusive, as no results were found in the provided search results. Despite this, the world of sneakers continues to thrive, with collaborations like the Puma H-Street "Jamaica" and the Brain Dead x Adidas Japan Lo adding to its rich history and diversity.
