Hamm-Westphalia's thrilling derby match kicks off with an intense victory
The ASV is gearing up for their next match, scheduled for Saturday, 30.08. at 18.00, against Wilhelmshavener HV. The venue for this exciting encounter has yet to be specified.
In the recent derby, held at the Westpress Arena, a sold-out crowd of 2500 spectators witnessed a start-to-finish victory for the ASV. Two standout performers in this game were Andreas Bornemann and Swedish newcomer Carl Gabrielsson, who both scored five goals each.
However, the ASV faces a setback as their playmaker, Pawel Krawczyk, is currently injured. Krawczyk sustained an injury to his knee in an unfortunate collision midway through the first half of a previous game and will be examined more closely in the near future.
Despite this, the ASV's opponent in the upcoming match, Wilhelmshavener HV, has not reported any significant injuries or changes in their team.
The ASV's season goal remains clear: a return to the 2nd league. To achieve this, they will need to continue their strong performances, starting with the upcoming match against Wilhelmshavener HV.
Fortunately for ASV fans, they will be able to watch the home games live, as the Lippewave has announced they will be broadcasting these matches this season.
