In a recent announcement, the city administration of Bad Laasphe has informed boat owners about the temporary closure of the Wieck Harbor Office. The office will be closed from August 25 to September 5, 2025, to facilitate necessary maintenance work.
During this period, boat owners are asked to contact the bridge keepers for any assistance they may require. The city administration appreciates the understanding of boat owners and seeks their cooperation during this closure.
From August 18 to 22, 2025, the Wieck Harbor Office will have restricted hours, operating only from 7:00 to 9:00 AM, and will be open only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Boat owners are also asked to contact the bridge keepers during this period as well.
It is important to note that no bridge chips will be issued or renewed from August 18 to 22, 2025, and no new bridge chips will be issued from August 25 to September 5, 2025. This means that eligible individuals will not receive bridge chips during these dates.
In addition to the Wieck Harbor Office closure, the Bad Laasphe city library will be completely closed from August 25 to September 5, 2025. However, the Feudingen library will only be closed on August 27 and September 3, 2025. The Banfe school library will remain open with regular hours during this period.
