In a significant development, the Lippe Police, in collaboration with the main customs office in Bielefeld, seized a large quantity of narcotics on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. The seizure took place around 7:30 PM.

During a routine check near Holzhausen-Externsteine, Lippe's deployment forces located a 69-year-old man without a fixed address. The man was temporarily arrested following the check.

Upon searching the vehicle, the service dog discovered a suitcase containing approximately 8 kilograms of hashish in the trunk. The seized narcotics were secured immediately.

The high-speed chase was initiated due to the man being supposed to be checked during border controls. However, the chase was called off due to concerns for safety.
