Healthcare provider EmblemHealth appoints VMLY&R as their primary advertising agency
EmblemHealth, a large not-for-profit health insurance group of companies covering one in three New Yorkers, has announced the appointment of VMLY&R as their agency of record. This decision follows a thorough review process.
EmblemHealth, with a workforce serving more than three million people, includes companies such as ConnectiCare and AdvantageCare Physicians. The appointment extends to all companies within the EmblemHealth family, and VMLY&R will oversee creative assignments, brand communications, and marketing strategy for the entire group.
In addition to creative and strategic responsibilities, VMLY&R will also handle media planning for EmblemHealth's companies. The total media spend for EmblemHealth last year was $17.2 million, but the media spend for each individual company within the group has not been specified.
Jessica Post, the evp, executive director at VMLY&R, will play a significant role in the partnership. She expressed positivity about the impact they can have on more than three million lives. VMLY&R aims to serve the community in new ways for EmblemHealth, leveraging their creativity and healthcare expertise to drive growth for the organisation.
Kenneth Raske, the Chairman and CEO of EmblemHealth, welcomed the appointment, stating that VMLY&R's extensive experience in healthcare marketing and branding made them an ideal partner. He looks forward to working together to create engaging and effective campaigns that resonate with their diverse membership base.
With this new partnership, EmblemHealth and VMLY&R aim to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of millions of people across New York.
