Inclement weather conditions, characterized by high temperatures, have prompted an elevated hazard level for the city of Moscow, expected to persist for a span of three days.

Moscow is gearing up for a heat wave, with meteorologists issuing a weather advisory that is in effect until 6:00 PM Moscow Standard Time on July 30. The city is expected to experience extremely high temperatures, with daytime temperatures reaching around +28°C and nighttime temperatures hovering around +16°C.

The weather advisory has placed Moscow under an "orange" weather danger level, which indicates that the weather conditions may be dangerous. This level suggests a risk of severe weather events and damage. Meteorologists categorize weather hazards into five levels, with "orange" being the second-to-last on the scale.

Starting from Monday through Wednesday, Moscow will be under this "orange" weather danger level. A high-pressure system will stretch across the entire Russian Plain, peaking over the next week in Moscow. On Monday, July 28, 2025, temperatures in Moscow will exceed 30°C.

Apart from temperatures exceeding +30°C, very weak winds are expected. Calm conditions at night and in the mornings could lead to a sharp increase in air pollution particles. Light rain is possible in some areas, and meteorologists predict that rain to clear the air will arrive in Moscow closer to August 2.

However, it's important to note that as of now, there are no publicly available records or specific meteorologists named who have researched and published weather forecasts for temperatures in Moscow starting from July 28, 2025.

The "orange" weather danger level also indicates a risk of heat-related illnesses, especially for vulnerable populations such as the elderly, young children, and those with pre-existing medical conditions. It's essential to take precautions to stay cool and hydrated during this period.
