The Gardens at Heather Farm's 38th Annual Teddy Bear Tea

The Gardens at Heather Farm, a beloved community non-profit public garden in Walnut Creek, California, is set to host its 38th annual Teddy Bear Tea on December 7th and 8th. This event, designed for children aged three to ten, along with their parents and grandparents, promises a delightful day filled with holiday festivities.

Established 52 years ago, Heather Farm Gardens has been serving the community tirelessly, offering a free six-acre public garden year-round. The Gardens' commitment to education is evident in the 20,000 K-8 students they reached through their children's environmental education programs in the last school year.

Proceeds from the Teddy Bear Tea will support these educational programs, ensuring they continue to inspire and educate the next generation about the importance of the environment.

The event will feature holiday fairies, storytime, child-friendly activities, and, of course, plenty of teddy bears. Two seatings will be held each day, at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

For those interested in learning more about the Gardens at Heather Farm, tours are available. The Gardens warmly invite the community to visit and explore the beauty and educational opportunities they offer.
