UAE Weather Forecast for Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 30
The UAE is set for another hot weekend, according to the UAE National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). On Saturday, August 30, Dubai and Abu Dhabi are expected to see high temperatures of 45°C and 46°C respectively.
Temperatures across the UAE will range between 29°C and 78°C, with fair to partly cloudy skies. The highest temperature recorded over the country on Friday was 48.5°C in Al Ain's Sweihan at 2pm.
As the weekend progresses, humidity will rise, particularly in parts of the UAE's coastal and interior areas. This increase in humidity could lead to fog or mist in certain locations.
Winds in the UAE are expected to be light to moderate, blowing from the southeast to northeast, occasionally freshening. Speeds will range from 10 to 25kmph, with gusts reaching up to 40kmph.
On Sunday, August 30, Sheikh Zayed is forecast to reach the highest temperature of up to 41°C in the United Arab Emirates. Other cities like Dubai are expected to have slightly lower maximum temperatures around 40°C.
In addition, sea conditions will be calm in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea. There is a possibility of convective cloud buildup moving eastward and southward, potentially bringing rainfall in some areas.
