Heavy Vehicle Transgresses Closed Road: A truck exceeding the 3.5-tonne limit drives across a road that has been prohibited for such vehicles, causing it to collide with a road sign.
On March 26, 2025, a truck accident occurred in the residential area of Hohenlimburg, Germany, around 3:40 PM on the street "Alte Stadt."
According to the Polizei Hagen, transmitted via news aktuell, the driver of an articulated lorry, a 53-year-old man, was involved in the incident. Witness statements helped identify the transport company and the driver. However, the name of the transport company has not been disclosed at this time.
The truck caused damage to a traffic sign and a wall in the area of Klippchen/Husterstraße. The trailer of the lorry suddenly swayed during the incident. The driver stopped to inspect his vehicle but continued his journey despite the road being too narrow for vehicles over 3.5 tons.
