Helicopters in Action: Young Individuals Escaping Robbery Arrest
In the quiet town of Hamm-Herringen, an unusual incident unfolded on the morning of August 29. A pair of 14-year-old juveniles made headlines after they stole a riding lawnmower from a local cemetery.
The incident occurred around 11 a.m. on "An der Falkschule" street. The initial assumption was that the stolen vehicle was a tractor, but it was later revealed to be a riding lawnmower. The juveniles drove the stolen lawnmower off the cemetery grounds, colliding with a guardrail before fleeing on foot.
Fortunately, the guardrail was not damaged in the incident, and the riding lawnmower sustained only minor damage. A police helicopter was swiftly deployed for the search, and the juveniles were later located. Their identities were established, and a criminal proceeding for theft of a motor vehicle has been initiated against both individuals.
