High-end Turkish Jazz and Food establishment in San Ramon set to debut shortly
New Turkish Restaurant with Live Jazz Music Coming to City Center Bishop Ranch
San Ramon, California is set to welcome a new addition to its dining scene. Meyhouse, a restaurant specializing in Turkish cuisine and live jazz music, is set to open in City Center Bishop Ranch.
Meyhouse was launched as a pop-up in 2017 and opened its first brick-and-mortar in Sunnyvale in 2018, with a Palo Alto location following in 2023. The new San Ramon location will bring the same food-plus-music formula to the East Bay.
Omer Artun, one of the two founders of Meyhouse, is excited about the new location. The restaurant's name nods to the meyhane tradition, which are lively "wine houses" known for music and Mediterranean small bites.
The new Meyhouse location will take over the former Dumpling Time space on the plaza at City Center Bishop Ranch. City Center confirmed earlier this year that Meyhouse would join the complex, along with other new places like Khaki and Alora.
City Center's annual jazz music series was a big hit this Summer, indicating a strong interest in jazz music among people who frequent the shopping center. It's no surprise then, that Meyhouse's live jazz music will be a welcome addition.
