High-voltage Rock concert: Five thrilling acts lashing out raw energy over one electric evening at Rockzone
On the 12th of September 2025, Lünen will come alive with the rhythm of music as the Lünen Fair takes over Tobiaspark. Presented by Lünen's Cultural Office and sponsored by Stadtwerke Lünen, the event, known as ROCKZONE, promises a diverse live experience for rock fans and music lovers of all ages.
The program kicks off at 5 PM with Broken Cymbals, a thrash-punk band from Werne. With their new album "Bad Dream" ready to set the stage ablaze, Broken Cymbals is set to start the night on a high note.
Following at 6 PM, Demente Tendenzen from Selm will take the stage. Known for their mix of rock classics from the 80s and 90s with a personal, contemporary touch, they are sure to get the crowd moving.
At 8 PM, The Gasoliners from the Lüner Ruhrpott will perform. Since 2004, this band has been touring clubs and festivals, and their performance style, a mix of rock'n'roll, punk, and alternative, is sure to be a highlight of the evening.
Superunknown, known for their heavy riffs and driving rhythms, will take the stage at 7 PM. Their powerful and dynamic performance is not to be missed.
The night will conclude at 9:30 PM with The Silverettes. Blending rockabilly, rock'n'roll, and pop in a modern package, The Silverettes bring the spirit of the 50s into the 21st century. Their songs, described as honest, personal, and powerful, are sure to leave a lasting impression.
A new addition to the ROCKZONE stage is Nevel from Recklinghausen. This band will be performing for the first time on the 12th of September, and their performance is eagerly anticipated.
ROCKZONE offers a lineup of five regional bands, ranging from punk and alternative to crossover and modern rockabilly. This open-air stage concert promises to be an unforgettable night of music and entertainment for all. And the best part? Admission to the event is free!
