Holiday Boost: Prime Video Expands FAST Channel Offerings

Amazon is getting into the holiday spirit by expanding its Prime Video service with a plethora of new offerings. The tech giant has announced the launch of several holiday-themed Fast channels, as well as the addition of more than 150 local PBS stations.

One of the highlights of the new lineup is the PBS Kids multicast channel services, which will be available for free and without advertisements. This addition is part of Amazon's plan to increase its Fast channel offerings over the coming months.

The PBS service joins a growing list of holiday-themed channels on Prime Video. For example, "Vevo Holiday" offers a selection of current and classic music videos for holiday celebrations, featuring artists like Mariah Carey, Justin Bieber, and John Legend.

For those who prefer a dose of festive, feel-good movies, Amazon has launched "Hallmark Holiday Favorites" and "Holiday Movie Favorites by Lifetime". These channels feature popular holiday movies and star-studded productions.

In addition, Amazon has introduced "Always Christmas", a collection of well-known and new holiday movies, including "A Christmas Princess", "A Cape Cod Christmas", "A Holiday for Love", and "The Dog Who Saved Christmas".

Another exciting addition is "America's Test Kitchen Holidays", which features the finest recipes and ideas for Thanksgiving and holiday entertaining.

While specific details about the teams responsible for programming these new channels, their exact release dates, and the management of the PBS Kids multicast channel services have not been disclosed publicly, one thing is certain - the total Prime Video Fast channel lineup now exceeds 500 channels.

Amazon's Prime Video has indeed come a long way since its inception, and with these new offerings, it's set to make the holiday season even more enjoyable for its subscribers.
