The Holthausen Center was filled with laughter, music, and dance on the 27th of February, as the Holthausen Rabbits celebrated Altweiber. The event, attended by over 200 people, was a vibrant display of community spirit.

Rainer Fuhrmann, the Rabbits' President, warmly welcomed guests, alongside members and the dance guard, setting the tone for an evening of joviality. The Altbierwikinger, a popular group, were among the attendees, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Musical entertainment was provided by De Fleech, alias Rainer Wahnwitz, the duo DuBB, and Michael Hermes and his band. Their lively tunes had everyone singing and dancing along, creating a joyous ambiance.

The young dancers of the Rabbits took centre stage, receiving applause for their performance. They were joined by the Piccolinos, Piccolos, and Junior girls, who performed a coordinated dance that was a highlight of the evening.

Marie Lena, a talented dancer, captivated the audience with her solo performance. The "wet and cheerful maidens from Reisholz" also added to the entertainment, bringing their unique energy to the celebration.

The evening concluded with a performance by the duo Lucy and Julia, showcasing their impressive dancing skills. As the night drew to a close, the society ensured that everyone was well-fed and refreshed, with drinks and refreshments provided for all.

The Holthausen Rabbits are set to join the Reisholzer Quatschköpp parade before the Rosenmontag parade in town. They will be accompanied by the group "Saubande", promising another lively event for the community.

The Altweiber celebration was a testament to the Holthausen Rabbits' commitment to bringing people together through music, dance, and community spirit. It was an evening filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a shared love for tradition.
