In an unexpected turn of events, a physical altercation between two men in Munich's state capital has left one of them severely injured. The incident, which unfolded on Monday, 8th September, has been shrouded in complexity, involving a "complex triangle" of relationships and emotions.
The fight took place around 8 PM in the Munich district of Unterschleißheim, specifically within the apartment of a 52-year-old woman who was in a relationship with both men involved. The location of the stabbing was confined to this very apartment.
The altercation escalated to a violent level when a 61-year-old man, whose identity remains undisclosed, grabbed a sharp object and stabbed his rival in the chest. The victim, whose age is not specified, sustained a deep wound that almost penetrated his lung. The severity of the injury required immediate medical attention, and paramedics promptly transported him to the hospital for treatment.
The 61-year-old man and the woman, who were also caught up in the scuffle, sustained slight injuries. The man was temporarily detained and is currently being held in the detention center of the presidency.
