House Fire in Hannover-Mühlenberg: Incipient Blaze in Hannover's Mühlenberg Area

In the early hours of this morning, the fire department in Hannover responded to an apartment fire that occurred at around 6:06 PM. The incident took place on a balcony of a four-story apartment building, and black smoke was visible from a window on the second floor.

The fire department dispatched 16 vehicles and 50 personnel to the scene to tackle the blaze. Fortunately, the fire in the affected apartment and the floors above was quickly extinguished, but the smoke caused three children aged 9 to 11 years old to inhale smoke as they left the building. One of the children was taken to a hospital for examination.

The operation to extinguish the fire ended at 8:20 PM, and the estimated damage from the incident is around 300,000 euros. As a result, three apartments are currently uninhabitable due to the fire.
