Hunter Biden alleges George Clooney sabotages his father during the 2024 presidential campaign
In a series of recent podcast interviews, Hunter Biden, the son of former President Joe Biden, has been vocal about his opinions regarding the 2024 presidential campaign and the Democratic Party.
In one interview, Hunter Biden claimed that his father, Joe Biden, may have been under the influence of Ambien during the presidential debate that led to calls for him to step down from the 2024 campaign. He stated that Biden looked like a "deer in the headlights" during the debate due to potential Ambien effects.
Hunter Biden is currently embroiled in a lawsuit against Patrick Byrne, the former CEO of Overstock.com, who allegedly made false claims about Hunter Biden's interactions with the Iranian government. The court proceedings for this lawsuit are expected to begin in a Los Angeles federal court.
In addition to his criticism of his father, Hunter Biden has accused longtime Democratic advisers Anita Dunn, James Carville, and David Axelrod of making significant sums of money off the Democratic Party and not helping candidates' current efforts. According to Hunter Biden, Anita Dunn made "$40 to $50 million" off of work for the Democratic Party, while James Carville, adviser to former President Bill Clinton, "hasn't run a race in 40 years."
Hunter Biden also criticized George Clooney's opinions about the Democratic Party nominee in a recent podcast interview. Clooney called Joe Biden in a 2024 New York Times op-ed to urge him to step down from the 2024 presidential race due to concerns about Biden's declining state and diminished capacity. In response, Hunter Biden blasted George Clooney, questioning why anyone should listen to the actor.
The Democratic president, Joe Biden, had previously stated that he would not pardon or commute his son's sentence after convictions in the two cases in Delaware and California. However, in the waning days of his administration, Biden pardoned his son, sparing him from a possible prison sentence for federal felony gun and tax convictions.
Tommy Vietor, one of the former Obama aides who now host "Pod Save America," applauded Hunter Biden's decision to "process the election, look inward, and hold himself accountable for how his family's insular, arrogant at times, approach to politics led to this catastrophic outcome we're all now living with."
The podcast interviews by Hunter Biden are happening just days before the expected start of the court proceedings for the lawsuit against Patrick Byrne. It remains to be seen how these developments will impact the Democratic Party and the 2024 presidential race.
