I-795 crash involving an ambulance and a fuel truck results in injuries for paramedics in Maryland, as depicted in a video.

In a shocking turn of events, a violent crash involving an ambulance and a fuel truck occurred on Interstate 795 over the weekend. The Baltimore County Police Department is leading the investigation into the incident.

The crash, which occurred around 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, resulted in seven people being injured. Two Carroll County paramedics were among the injured parties and were flown to the hospital for treatment. A firefighter/paramedic and a firefighter/EMT from Carroll County are currently stable at Sinai Hospital.

The Carroll County Fire and EMS confirmed that its Medic 139 from the Gamber station was involved in a significant motor vehicle collision. The crash forced lane closures on I-795 at Westminster Pike in Reisterstown.

David Ellin, a business owner, captured the crash on video, and he described it as one of the most violent crashes he has recorded. Ellin's law office is located at the intersection where three highways converge, a location he claims can be dangerous due to frequent accidents. According to Ellin, the issue lies in the fact that vehicles traveling at speeds of 50 to 60 mph from three different directions converge at this intersection.

Maryland State Police crash data reveals that there have been seven crashes at this intersection since the beginning of this year, with five resulting in injuries. Ellin mentioned that at least one accident occurs at this intersection per month.

The investigation of the accident involving a Carroll County rescue vehicle and a fuel tanker on Interstate 795 is being conducted by the Maryland State Police. No new information about the condition of the injured parties or the status of the investigation was provided in this paragraph.
