ICE continues its presence in the Harburg district

On September 6, a high-speed ICE train carrying around 300 passengers became stranded in the Harburg district due to a technical issue. The source of this information is the dpa news agency.

According to a spokesperson for Deutsche Bahn, the company responsible for the train, the technical problem did not necessitate track closure. Passengers were evacuated from the stranded train, which originated from Hamburg and was bound for Munich.

The technical issue was reportedly resolved, and after approximately two and a half hours, the passengers were able to board a replacement train provided by Deutsche Bahn. This replacement train was likely offered to ensure the continuity of the passengers' travel plans and allowed them to continue their journey without further delay.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident, as confirmed by Deutsche Bahn. The replacement train was from Deutsche Bahn, as the dpa news agency reported.

The train stopped near Stelle station, and passengers resumed their journey after the technical issue was resolved. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining the technical integrity of high-speed trains to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers.
