IFA 2025 Showcase: Key Events

In the bustling city of Berlin, the annual IFA technology trade show showcased the latest innovations set to shape the coming years. This year's event emphasized artificial intelligence, smart home appliances, and sustainable energy solutions.

Among the highlights was the introduction of the eufy MarsWalker from Anker and the Cyber X from Dreame, two new robots designed to revolutionize home cleaning. These robots are equipped to transport vacuum cleaners to other floors independently, eliminating the need for manual carrying or buying additional vacuums for other levels.

Samsung also unveiled a couple of exciting products. The Galaxy S25 FE, a smartphone with a 6.7-inch 120Hz display, triple 50-megapixel camera, IP68 water and dust protection, and 45W fast charging, was priced at 750 euros. The tech giant also introduced the Tab S11 Ultra, a tablet with a 14.6-inch AMOLED screen, MediaTek processor, improved stylus, long battery life, extended software updates, and an expensive price tag of 1,399 euros.

Sustainable energy solutions were also a focal point at IFA Berlin 2025. Anker's Solix Solarbank Multi-System aims to address the typical weaknesses of balcony power plants and home storage. The heart of the system is the so-called Power Dock, allowing the parallel operation of up to four solar banks with a maximum feed-in power of 4.8 kilowatts. The storage capacity can be expanded in stages up to 64 kilowatt-hours.

In the realm of home appliances, the Cosori Iconic Single, a new hot air fryer made entirely of stainless steel, was presented. This design choice makes the fryer more hygienic and durable, avoiding PFAS or other harmful substances.

For those with gardens, the Mammotion LUBA Mini Lidar is a new mowing robot with solid-state LiDAR technology, allowing it to navigate complex, winding gardens and manage slopes up to 80 percent.

In the world of television, Hisense's 116UX TV uses RGB miniLEDs for the first time, offering more precise colors and true blacks, with a peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits. However, this innovation comes at a high price of around 25,000 euros.

Dolby Vision 2, a new picture standard for TVs, was also announced. This standard promises more realistic colors and contrast using AI-driven scene-by-scene analysis and adapting to content and ambient room light.

CleanBot Technologies, the manufacturer of the first offered mirror stair diving robot for cleaning household appliances, showcased their invention at the event.

Lastly, Aiper presented the Scuba V3, a new AI-controlled robot for pool owners that recognizes and removes leaves, sand, or small twigs. The TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra, a smartphone with a unique display that reads like paper, was also showcased, although its cost remains unknown.

IFA Berlin 2025 offered a captivating glimpse into the future of technology, with innovations promising to make our homes cleaner, our energy use more sustainable, and our devices more advanced than ever before.
