In Dahlem-Schmidtheim on August 21st, a significant incident occurred at 1:30 AM on the main street. A 36-year-old woman from Blankenheim was found driving a vehicle that was later discovered to be unroadworthy, uninsured, and with stolen license plates.

The woman was under the influence of cannabis and amphetamines at the time of the incident. When she noticed a police patrol car, she sped off but was later found on a parking lot in Hochstraße with the vehicle's lights and engine turned off.

Upon investigation, it was revealed that the woman does not possess a driver's license. The license plates attached to the car were also reported stolen. The vehicle was confiscated, and the woman was taken to Schleiden police station for a blood test.
