Google's August 20 Launch Event: A New Audio Lineup and More
Google is gearing up for its August 20 launch event, and the tech giant is expected to unveil a variety of new products. Among them are the Pixel Buds 2a, the Pixel Buds Pro 2, the Pixel 10 series, and the Pixel Watch 4.
The Pixel Buds 2a are rumored to be a new addition to Google's audio lineup, and images leaked by Android Headlines depict the earbuds within a white charging case. Beyond the "Iris" colorway, the Pixel Buds 2a may be available in additional colors such as "Fog Light," "Hazel," and "Strawberry."
The "Iris" color is also associated with leaked images of the Pixel Watch 4. However, the Pixel Buds Pro 2, which have not been officially announced by Google yet, are expected to feature a new color option called "Moonstone." The "Moonstone" color was previously associated with the Pixel 10 series in a leak, but it is now reportedly linked to the Pixel Buds Pro 2.
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 may be introduced alongside the Pixel Buds 2a at the August 20 event. While the Pixel Buds 2a are part of Google's current audio lineup, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are not. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are expected to be a separate product from the Pixel Buds 2a.
In addition to the new audio products, Google may also unveil Qi2-compatible Pixelsnap accessories. The Pixelsnap accessories could include a charger, a stand, and a combined stand/charger unit.
