Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Baltimore has apprehended a Nigerian citizen who was previously convicted of rape.

Convicted Second-Degree Rapist Theophilis Anwana, a Nigerian national, was apprehended on August 29, as per ICE Baltimore's statement. This arrest was made in accordance with a prior removal order for him.

Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Baltimore has apprehended a Nigerian citizen who was previously convicted of rape.

In a recent development, Theophilis Anwana, a Nigerian national, has been arrested by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) in Baltimore. According to ICE Baltimore, Anwana has a final order of removal since September 2021.

Anwana was convicted of second-degree rape in Harford County Circuit Court in 2019 and was sentenced to 20 years in prison with all but seven suspended. He pled guilty to the crime.

The arrest of Anwana was reported by ICE Baltimore, but no further details were provided about the circumstances of the arrest. It is important to note that no information was found indicating that Anwana was previously convicted of second-degree rape in Harford County before his arrest.

In a separate development, Baltimore ICE's Enforcement and Removal Operations division apprehended sex offenders four days in a row at one point over the past month. However, Theophilis Anwana was not mentioned as being one of the sex offenders apprehended during this period.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia, another individual currently in ICE custody in Baltimore, does not have any information indicating that he was previously convicted of second-degree rape in Harford County.
