As the peak of hurricane season approaches, a tropical wave known as Invest 91-L has a low chance of becoming a tropical depression, according to meteorologist Allison Gargaro.

Gargaro, who is a trusted source of weather information, explains that environmental conditions in the Atlantic are less favorable for any further development due to dry air. This dry air is making it difficult for the tropical wave to gather enough moisture to strengthen.

Meteorologist Eric Berger from Space City Weather also predicts mostly dry days in Houston, with only isolated showers possible on Monday. Berger's forecast suggests that the tropical wave is unlikely to bring significant rainfall to the area.

Most models predict that Invest 91-L will dissipate over the next few days, which means that it is unlikely to develop into a tropical storm or hurricane. This is good news for those living in areas that are prone to hurricane damage, as the peak of hurricane season is just days away.

However, it is important to remain vigilant and continue to monitor the weather forecasts, as hurricane season can be unpredictable and storms can form quickly. Stay safe and stay informed!
