In the aftermath of a Russian assault on Zaporizhzhia, at least 28 individuals sustained injuries; rescue operations have since been concluded.

In the night of 29-30 August, a Russian attack occurred in the city of Zaporizhzhia. The attack resulted in injuries to 28 people, according to the latest reports.

Among those injured were three children: a 9-year-old boy, a 10-year-old boy, and a 16-year-old girl. The current status of these children is not known at this time.

The fires, which broke out in the aftermath of the attack, caused significant damage. Firefighters extinguished fires in two five-storey residential buildings, covering an area of 230 sq m, and five additional residential buildings, a car service station, and a café, covering a total area of 550 sq m. Notably, the fires did not occur in hospitals or emergency service stations.

However, there is no information available about who was involved in the attack on Zaporizhzhia or any specific search results addressing this matter.

In response to the incident, the State Emergency Service provided assistance to 26 citizens, including three children, following the attack. State Emergency Service psychologists also offered support to those affected.

It's important to note that, as of now, there are no mentions of any new attacks or threats from Russian forces in other regions, such as Donetsk and Kherson oblasts. Similarly, there are no reports of any significant events or developments in these regions or any political responses or international relations, such as threats to strike Poland or responses from Warsaw.

The exact cause of the fires, whether they are directly related to the previous night's Russian attack, remains unclear at this time. The situation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
