In Toronto, Tiffany Haddish and Isla Fisher will take on leading roles for the action-packed comedy movie titled 'Double Crossed.' (Exclusive)
In exciting news for movie enthusiasts, Tiffany Haddish and Isla Fisher have joined forces for an upcoming action-comedy titled "Double Crossed". The film, which is currently in production, is set to hit the big screen next year.
Tiffany Haddish, last seen on the big screen in "Bad Boys: Ride or Die", has several features in the pipeline. She will star alongside Isla Fisher in "Double Crossed", a film that promises to be a rollercoaster ride of laughter and thrill.
Kestrin Pantera, who is represented by CAA, Zero Gravity Management, and Bloch Law, will direct the film. Pantera is known for her stellar direction in various projects, and "Double Crossed" is set to be another feather in her cap.
The production company partnering with Kestrin Pantera's "A Higher Standard Double Crossed" is Pandora Film Produktion, and the company handling worldwide sales is FilmGexR Virtual Production Studio.
The story revolves around two women, Niki and Lara, who discover they were married to the same man. In a twist of fate, they embark on a perilous road trip to uncover the truth about him. The film's script was penned by Shelby Enlow.
Zero Gravity's Mark Williams and Allie Loh, along with Jeffrey Greenstein, will produce the film. Orien Richman will also produce "Double Crossed". Rebecca Raichek will oversee development on behalf of A Higher Standard.
Isla Fisher, who was last seen in "Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy" and Netflix's George Clooney-starrer "Jay Kelly", is represented by UTA, and Sloane, Offer, Webber & Dern.
A Higher Standard's upcoming slate includes the action comedy "Playdate" with Alan Ritchson and Kevin James, and the Kevin James-led romantic comedy "Solo Mio".
Thayer Juergens will executive produce "Double Crossed". Principal photography for the film is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of next year.
