On the brighter side, Heilbronn police conducted a series of checks over the weekend, reporting more than 30 traffic offenses, including unnecessary noise, pointless driving back and forth, and excessive speed. Four drivers were caught speeding on the Peter-Bruckmann Bridge, with the fastest driver clocked at 99 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

In a worrying development, the police in Weinsberg are investigating a break-in at the equipment house of the volunteer fire department Ellbachtal, where five manual small equipment were stolen.

In Untereisesheim, a fire in an apartment on Lerchenstraße on Saturday evening is likely due to food left on the stove.
